The Power of Del.icio.us

I cannot tell you how great it is to have a del.icio.us account. Once you have begun to use it you will realize how helpful it becomes to your work. I especially like the feature: Links for You. I am able to "tag" websites that I find for people in my network, and they do the same for me. It's a quick and easy way to share links. You also get to view the networks and links of others in this rich Web 2.0 environment. Del.icio.us works best in the Firefox Browser, and now Firefox has added new features. This del.icio.us Bookmarks extension enhances the old Firefox bookmarking system with a new set of tools to help you create, manage and search your bookmarks. By importing your old Firefox bookmarks to del.icio.us you will have "all your bookmarks in one place", and your Firefox bookmarks will now be synced with del.icio.us. This means that your bookmarks will be instantly accessible both in your Firefox browser and from the del.icio.us website. To access all your bookmarks from another computer simply go to your bookmarks on delicious. If you wish to use del.icio.us you must download the app into your browser. Then it's right there ready to go. Try it you might like it!

Becky I have to thank you for getting me turned on to this wonderful tool. I do have to say that if you join Del.icio.us, it helps tons to get hooked up with such great resources as we have here in Maine. My friends around the state have posted such incredibly useful links in Del.icio.us that I now have started to check my network links every day to make sure I don't miss something really cool. Thanks people for being such great resources!

Becky,

Would it make sense to list del.icio.us names so we can build a "Maine" network of users?

Hi Becky,

I'm a product manager on del.icio.us and just wanted to say thanks for the kind words regarding our product. We're looking at beefing up our integration with "for:" links in the extension, so you'll see a closer synergy between the web site and the browser extensions sometime in the near future.
