I think students struggle with internet searches. They often don't know how to do an effective search that will narrow down the topic.

My students will still hesitate when asked to do research using the web.They are comfortable with their laptops, but not with using laptops as a resource.

Asking students to conduct Internet searches is like asking them to find a needle in a haystack....or to find authentic Coach purses in a pile of knock offs.
