Second try- Really enjoyed David Warlick's session this morning. Totally agree that the arts are essential to our students' future success.
a boat ride would be fun
Shana Goodall would enjoy a boat ride - it will be refreshing.
Was nice and cool and such a lovely view. Beware, though, you will get wet so dress accordingly. Nice way to relax after being so focused all day. Loads of fun!

Very nice day for a boat ride, though it was not a low-salt trip. I'll find a way to get some pictures up somewhere.
I believe that my pictures will be on flickr.com, if you search for pictures under MMA MLTI. "Simonthecat" is the photographer.
Thanks to the conference organizers for setting the boat ride up! Even though it got cut short due to rough seas, it was a nice activity break after a full day of learning. It works for our students and it works for us! And my clothes are almost dry...:)
Thanks for the boat ride to the conference organizers and Maine Maritime Academy. It was great. The scenery was beautiful. I enjoyed the free salt water shower!
The boat ride was wonderful! Wet, but wonderful. The coastline is beautiful and the boat were a joy to watch, especially the sail boats. Thank you for the opportunity to have such an experience. Capturing the lost hat was a highlight also.
David Warlick's morning session on the world of Literacy through technology was very informative.
The video shown Museum of Media History was a wonderful way to introduce us to thinking about ethical questions concerning the use of the internet - the media is the message or is it ?
Great boat ride. I'm glad we got out into the swells a little bit.
The boat ride was great - I needed a shower anyway!
The boat ride was a real treat. It was a gorgeous day, the salt spray was refreshing, the captain and mate competent (nice hat snag!!!). Thanks for opening it up and giving us the chance to enjoy!!!
